Wrote to Tuan Tran in charge of printers etc. Phoned by HP Tech and spent 15 minutes changing a lot of the settings. Sorted the scanning issue but now it will not print. but will print from other user desktop. Phoned HP today and spent 44 minutes doing as instructed. Still not printing. I have now ordered an Epson and am returning HP printer to HP.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible machine! Hopeless piece of kit! Any machine you can't turn on, push a button to Print, Scan, or Copy is hopeless. Most of us couldn't give two hoots about printing off a smart phone. Huge disapointment from what used to be a leading IT company.

Extremely unhappy and find this unreliable

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst printer ever I bought this six months ago, and initially it seemed easy to setup, although frustrating that I needed to create a hp online account to use a printer. Since then it regularly had issues connecting to wifi, and it's spend hours trying to get it going, I'd be able to communicate with the printer using the app on my phone, and get it to print out status reports, but not my documents. The same on the computer, I could get status of the ink, but when i tried to print, suddenly it couldn't find the printer. I have worked as an IT tech, so I'm not naive around networking, but I literally have just chucked this printer in the bin as I couldn't handle the frustration anymore. I know the specs sound good, and the price is right, but for your sanity, please avoid it.

I just simply want to print, copy or scan a page, not have HP et al giving their consent. Absolute garbage and probably the last HP item I but after 20 years or more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for home use Easy to set-up and the software installation is fairly easy as well. Print quality is not bad, you can't compare this with professional/commercial printer of course. I only had slight issue with ink replacement as HP+ will only send you replacement ink cartridge(s) when yours is running low, so if you are in between printings, you will be left with no ink (based on HP+ subscription mechanism). Although ink replacement should be easy, the hardware and software just refuse to read the new ink and I ended up spending 45 mins on the phone with the technical team to resolve the matter. Otherwise, pretty good printer.
