Rated 5 out of 5 by from The MFP you need You need this printer. Our small business thought our last HP printer was amazing but the MFP M479fdw takes it up a whole level. We required a unit that was wifi enabled, 2 sided scanning on one pass and with great quality printing and scanning. Yes the print quality is better than the our last MFP and what I would expect but it's all the extra's that make it special. Yes it scans both sides of a document in one pass and in true form they have simplified the process. Fax machine - yes. But its the extras that have won us over. When you scan it doesn't just go to one computer file on the network. You can set up a choice of files on your network to send it to as well as scanning direct to an email. You can link it to your Google Drive or Dropbox. Scanning multiple pages is easier than ever. And it has great print speed. This multi function printer will definitely win you over.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from struggling with the new We needed a new printer fast so went with the newer version of the old. It seems dumber! The printer queue often gets stopped for no apparent reason; Even basic copying seems to stop because it goes back to the non-default tray for some reason. Ok it's new and I haven't tried support yet; but I've never had to do that before with an HP printer.

Super easy set up …… I haven’t used the machine much yet, but am somewhat alarmed by how quickly the ink levels are dropping. Aside from this, the features are great, easy to use, and a bonus that extra paper drawers are available.
