Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with the hub I've recently connected the hub to my Laptop and it is doing the job as advertised. It allows me to set the laptop up as a PC at home and provides the ability to connect a number of devices. The only -ve comment is that the hub stays on after the laptop is shutdown. I imagine it would be draining the laptop battery but can't imagine it would be much of a drain in standby mode.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is an adaptor, not a docking station Not suitable for two monitors. Image will extend from laptop to screens, but mirrors on both screens. There is no way around this. There is also no power source which is not clear in the listing. This is an adaptor, not a docking station.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misleading description resulted in wrong purchase DOES NOT SUPPORT TWO MONITORS DISPLAYING DIFFERENT CONTENT Compared to the 'HP USB-C Travel Hub G2' which clearly states "HDMI or VGA for second-screen connectivity", the information on the 'HP Travel USB-C Multi Port Hub' states "allows you to stream to both HDMI and VGA simultaneously." The first description obviously points out the dock will support either HDMI or VGA so when I read the description for the second one that stated "HDMI and VGA simultaneously," I ordered it. After throwing away the packaging and taking it into the office, I discovered it supports two monitors simultaneously but they BOTH DISPLAY THE SAME THING. Why is one dock advertised in a way that is obvious, and the other is not? I guess I can't return it without packaging so the misleading advertising has not only wasted my time and money, it's added to the planet's e-waste. If you scroll to the very bottom of the page, you'll spot the disclaimer about the same content but after reading one description where it was obvious, I expected the same for other accessory descriptions.
