HP Announces New Marketing Manager for Personal Systems Group, Australia and New Zealand

SYDNEY, Australia, 20 January 2009 – Hewlett-Packard (HP) today announced the appointment of Warwick Grey as Marketing Manager for the Personal Systems Group (PSG), HP South Pacific.

In this role Grey will be responsible for the marketing of HP’s personal systems business, covering products and solutions across Australia and New Zealand. This includes the research, design, development and implementation of marketing strategies across the entire PSG portfolio, which includes HP’s commercial and consumer notebooks and desktops; monitors; workstations; thin clients; handhelds; and retail point of sale devices.

Grey will be focused on maximising revenue opportunities and increasing market share across the PSG business, working closely with HP channel and product marketing teams across the region.

“The HP brand has never been stronger in our region. I’m looking forward to implementing campaigns that continue to drive Australian and New Zealand consumers and businesses to choose HP PSG products,” said Grey. “The PSG South Pacific channel and product marketing teams are extremely talented, and together we will continue to communicate the HP PSG brand values and deliver the best possible experience for our customers.”

Prior to taking up the role as Marketing Manager for HP PSG South Pacific, Grey was the Marketing Manager for HP PSG in New Zealand, where he was responsible for developing and delivering product marketing strategies. While in this role he set up the HP New Zealand Marketing Council, was awarded a number of internal HP achievement awards, and won an HP Asia Pacific Leadership Award in 2007.
