Introduction

For Replicate Agent Settings and Install Software and Firmware features, HP Systems Insight Manager relies on two agents: HP Version Control Repository Manager and HP Version Control Agent. To take full advantage of the software update capabilities of HP Systems Insight Manager, ensure that the following points are met:

  • Every managed target server on the network has the Version Control Agent installed

  • Every repository that is used has the Version Control Repository Manager installed

  • The Version Control Repository Manager automatic update feature is configured
