 | | Polling Rates |
The CPU polling rate determines how often the CPU Resource checks CPU utilization as reported by Management Agents on monitored nodes. CPU utilization is a node-level attribute, so adjust the polling rate by configuring the node-level CPU Resource. The Disk polling rate determines how often the Disk Resource checks the free Disk space as reported by Insight Management Agents on monitored nodes. Free Disk space is a node-level attribute, so adjust the polling rate by configuring the node-level Disk Resource. The polling rate you enter determines how often the MSCS Resource checks the MSCS status of monitored clusters. MSCS is a cluster-level attribute, so adjust the status polling rate by configuring the cluster-level MSCS Resource. System Status Polling Rate The system, or node environment, polling rate determines how often the Node System Resource checks node status as reported by Management Agents running on the nodes. System is a node-level attribute, so adjust the polling rate by configuring the node-level Node System Resource. The polling rate is a global attribute of the resource, so you can specify only one polling interval for all nodes in all clusters. The polling fields display on the configuration page only when you select All in both the Cluster and Node dropdown lists.
