Searching for Systems

Click Advanced Search in the Search section.

Select systems from the Search for dropdown box.

From the first selection box (criteria selection), click the down arrow and select the search criteria.

From the second selection box (comparison selection), click the down arrow and select the comparison option.

Note: Different criteria support different comparisons. The comparison options change with the criteria selected. For example, if you select operating system as a criterion, the possible comparisons available are: is, is not, contains, starts with, and ends with. Refer to Searching for Systems and Events - System Criteria Rules and Searching for Systems and Events - System Criteria for more information.

In the third selection box (value selection), the available values for a given criteria or comparison combination are given. Select the value from the dropdown list, or enter the needed information in the input box supplied.

Click [Add] to add additional criteria, click [Go] to conduct the system search immediately, or click [Save as] to save the search as a list. Refer to Searching for Systems and Events - Basic and Advanced Search for more information on [Go] and [Save as].

Note: Criteria are re-ordred after clicking [Go] or [Save]. If criteria types are the same they are OR'd together and if they are different, they are AND'd together.
