Set protocol settings on a global basis that affect all systems, or set protocol settings for an individual system or group of systems. To set protocol settings on a global basis access the Global Protocol Settings page in any one of the following ways:
Select Options Protocol SettingsGlobal Protocol Settings.
From the HP Systems Insight Manager introductory page, click Protocol Settings in the DO THIS NOW to finish the install section From the Automatic Discovery - General Settings page, click Configure global protocol settings in the Discovery configuration section
To set protocol settings for a single system or group of systems access the System Protocol Settings page in the following ways:
From the All Systems page, click the System Name hotlink of the desired system to go to the System Page of that system, then click the System Protocol Settings hotlink on the Links tab page. Select OptionsProtocol SettingsSystem Protocol Settings. Select the single system to set its protocol settings.
To set protocol settings for a single system access the System Protocol Settings page, by selecting ToolsSystem InformationSystem Page and then select system, select [Run Now]LinksSystem Protocol Settings.
