Perform the following procedure to specify the COM port used by the modem to send pager messages.

You can configure modem settings in Windows only.

To set modem settings for paging:

  1. Select OptionsEventsAutomatic Event HandlingModem Settings. The Modem Settings page is displayed.

  2. Click the down arrow in the COM port dropdown box and select the appropriate COM port. Refer to your modem documentation for details.

  3. Click [OK] to save the setting.
