Specify cluster settings to record contact information, modem information, location, application list, and general comments about the cluster. This information is displayed in the Cluster Information section of the Cluster Data Viewer window on the Cluster Monitor page when the cluster is highlighted in the cluster tree.

  Note

Unless otherwise specified, values are optional and can contain up to 128 alphanumeric characters.

  Note

When using the keyboard to input an alphanumeric character or to highlight an option with the arrow keys in any dropdown box in the Cluster Monitor, you must press Enter to select the item.

To specify cluster settings:

  1. Select OptionsCluster MonitorCluster Settings. The Cluster Monitor - Cluster Settings page is displayed.

  2. Select the cluster from the Cluster list at the top of the page.

  3. Fill in or edit fields as necessary. Refer to Cluster Monitor - Cluster Fields.

    Note: The IP address field cannot be edited. This field is populated with discovered information.

  4. Click [OK] to save the changes. If you select another cluster from the Cluster list or leave the Cluster Monitor - Cluster Settings page without clicking [OK], changes to the current cluster settings are ignored.
