Configure the cluster-level resource settings to customize Cluster Monitor Resources for your environment.

  Note

When using the keyboard to input an alphanumeric character to highlight an option with the arrow keys in any dropdown box in the Cluster Monitor, you must press Enter to select the item.

To configure cluster resource settings:

  1. Select OptionsCluster MonitorCluster Resource Settings. The Cluster Monitor - Cluster Resource Settings page is displayed.

  2. Select the cluster type from the Cluster Type list. Some resource parameters can only be applied to all cluster types, and are only displayed if you select ALL (cluster type). Currently the only option is to select ALL (MSCS) to configure the MSCS clusters.

  3. Select the resource from the Resource list. The Settings for the selected Resource box is displayed.

  4. Specify the appropriate resource options.

    Note: HP recommends setting the polling rate to no less than five minutes.

  5. Click [OK] to save the changes.
