After the HP Systems Insight Manager Keystore is created and the Management HTTP Server setup is run, the Public and Private Key pair of the Management HTTP Server Certificate are overwritten with the HP Systems Insight Manager Public and Private Key pair.

  Note

This feature is available in the unlikely event that the certificates become unsynchronized for an unknown reason.

  Note

In order for the certificate sharing feature to work in HP-UX, OpenSSL must be installed in the /OPT/APACHE/SSL/BIN/ diretory (default for HP-UX installs). In order for the certificate sharing feature to work in Linux, OpenSSL must be installed in the /USR/BIN/ directory (default for Linux installs).

To synchronize certificates:

In Windows, you can manually synchronize the HP Systems Insight Manager server certificate and the Management HTTP Server Certificate Public and Private Key pair, by running the batch file SYNCHCERT.BAT, located in the root directory to which HP Systems Insight Manager is installed to.
