For detailed information regarding users, you can generate and print a users report.

  Note

To sort the information in ascending or descending order, click the appropriate column heading. The column heading that includes the arrow is the column by which the report is sorted. If the arrow is pointing up, the report is sorted in ascending order. If the arrow is pointing down, the report is sorted in descending order.

The following summary information regarding all users is displayed in the authorizations report for users window along with the date and time of the report:

  • User

  • Configuration Rights

  • Pager Configured

  • IP Login Restrictions

  • Full Name

To generate and print a user report:

  1. Select OptionsSecurityUsers and AuthorizationsUsers.

  2. Select user from the Authorizations for dropdown list.

  3. (Optional). Select a user from the Select name dropdown list.

    If nothing is selected in the Select name dropdown list. no matter what is selected in the Authorizations for box, the Authorizations Report for: all users report is generated

  4. Click [Report].

    The users report window appears.

  5. Select FilePrint to print the report.

    The users report is printed.

Command Line Interface

Users with full configuration rights can use the mxuser command to generate and run reports from the command line interface (CLI). Users with limited configuration rights can use the mxtool command only on single-system aware (SSA) and Web-launch aware (WLA) commands they have access to. For assistance with this command, refer to the HP-UX or Linux manpage by entering man mxuser at the command line.

Users with limited configuration rights can use the mxexec command to launch command tools on one or more systems from the command line interface. For assistance with this command, refer to the associated manpage.
