What should I do when I can't find my used product in the trade-in pulldown?
First, make sure your product is eligible under the terms of the promotion by checking the matrix on the terms and conditions
page. If you feel that your product is eligible and not listed in the trade-in pulldown menu, please contact
customer service
and they will assist you in filing your claim.
How long does the HP Cash In & Trade Up promotion run?
You may purchase/lease one or more new HP Designjet T610, T1100, T1100 MFP, 4000, 4500, 4500mfp, Z2100, Z3100 or Z6100
series printers with an invoice date between August 1, 2008 and October 15, 2008. All online claim forms must be submitted by October 15, 2008.
Associated HP Care Pack Services are valid from August 1, 2008 to October 15, 2008 and must be
purchased on same invoice as the qualifying HP Designjet printer. This promotion is valid in the U.S. only.
Which HP Designjet printers and HP Care Pack Services are eligible, and what are the cash-back amounts?
Purchase/lease an eligible new HP Designjet printer, trade-in your old large-format printer, plotter or vinyl cutter
and receive a cash-back allowance. Please view the chart below for eligible printers, associated qualifying HP Care Pack Services and cash-back amounts.
HP Care Pack Services must be purchased on same invoice as the new eligible printers and cash-back amounts.

What products(s) are eligible for trade-in for the HP Cash In & Trade Up promotion?
You may trade in any large-format pen plotter, inkjet printer, electrostatic plotter, thermal plotter, laser/LED
plotter/printer or vinyl cutter that's 24" or greater. Trade-in product must be in good working condition.
How do I get my cash-back allowance?
To get your cash-back amount, follow these three simple steps:

Purchase/lease an eligible new HP Designjet printer (see chart above for eligible printers)

Submit your claim by:

Completely filling out your online claim form and submitting it by October 15, 2008.
If you purchased a qualifying HP Care Pack Service, please indicate it on your claim form.

Once we receive your claim, you will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail with a quote number and
shipping instructions for your Trade-in Product(s).

| c) |
You will need to mail in the proof of purchase (sales invoice(s) plus HP Care Pack Service purchase, if applicable) including serial number along with an original print sample from the
printer(s)/plotter(s) or sample decal/logo from vinyl cutter(s) you'll be trading in. This needs to be
done by November 15, 2008. If your serial number(s) of your new printer(s) is not listed on your sales
invoice(s), please write the serial number(s) of your new printer(s) on the sales invoice(s) prior to
mailing. Also, please write your quote number clearly on the back of the print sample/decal or logo sample.
Be sure to keep a copy of your entire claim for your records.

Please mail the proof of purchase invoice/lease document of your new eligible HP Designjet printer
(including HP Care Pack purchase, if applicable) with the serial number(s), and an original sample test
print page(s) from your trade-in printer(s)/plotter(s) or sample

What is the final submission date for my claim?
All claims must be received by October 15, 2008.
How does the trade-in process work?

Once your claim is received by HP's promotion headquarters, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a quote number
immediately. Reference this number for all questions relating to the promotion.

Within one (1) business day after the claim is submitted and initial eligibility is confirmed, shipping instructions and
a shipping placard will be sent electronically to you for pick up of the Trade-in Product(s). A second e-mail will be
sent out as a reminder five business days following the first e-mail. If you purchased an HP Designjet T610, T1100, T1100 PS or Z2100 printer you
do NOT have to return your trade-in product.

HP will pay usual and customary shipping charges for shipping Trade-in Product(s) as part of this promotion when its
designated freight carrier is used.

You must contact HP's designated freight carrier to schedule pick-up.

You must return Trade-in Product(s) in accordance with the instructions provided by HP, and make them available
for pick-up by HP's designated freight carrier during scheduled pick-up time. Please allow a minimum of three days
for pick-up. HP's freight carrier will deliver the Trade-in Product(s) to HP's designated location at HP's expense.
The Trade-in Product(s) must be picked up within thirty (30) days from the date you submit the online claim form
or by November 15, 2008, whichever date occurs first.

The shipping instructions are valid for thirty (30) days from the issue date.

Trade-in Product(s) must be received in good working condition.

Please allow 4 - 6 weeks from the time your trade-in claim is complete for receipt of your cash-back check.
Completion of your claim includes pick up of your Trade-in Product(s) and receipt of your proof of purchase/lease
document of your new eligible HP Designjet printer (including HP Care Pack purchase, if applicable) and test print or sample decal/logo.
I'm having trouble with my online claim form. How can I get a PDF version?
To get a manual claim form, please call Market Velocity at 1.866.525.4178 Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Eastern Time.
Once you have a manual claim form you will need to complete the following process:

Purchase/lease an eligible new HP Designjet printer (see chart above for qualifying printers).

Submit your claim by:

How easy is it to fill out the claim form?
It's very easy. It takes about five minutes.
What is the final pick-up date for trading in my product(s)?
The Trade-in Product(s) must be picked up within thirty (30) days from the date you submit the online claim form or by
November 15, 2008, whichever date occurs first.
Where can I find the serial number for my purchased/leased printer(s)?
The serial number can be found on the box the printer came in next to the UPC symbol. Or you can find it on the printer itself.
What if one of my old products is damaged? Do I still get a cash-back amount?
No. This offer is valid only for Trade-in Product(s) that are in good working order with no more than minor cosmetic damage.
To receive the cash-back amount, the Trade-in Product(s) must be returned with all appropriate manuals, paper trays, cutter
assembly and power cords and must be capable of generating a test print or sample decal/logo. If any of these items are
missing when received by Market Velocity, HP may refuse to pay the cash-back amount. All ink and toner must be removed
from
printer(s) prior to shipping, and must be packaged separately. They may be included in the same package as the
Trade-in Product(s), but they must be wrapped and bagged separately.
Do I have to handle the trade-in process myself or can my reseller assist me?
By all means, your reseller can assist you.
Can I combine HP Cash In & Trade Up with another offer?
This offer may only be combined with the HP Trade Show promotion, and may not be combined with
HP discount offer such as education rebates, big deal pricing and volume discounts.
Can I purchase/lease and trade in multiple products?
Certainly, this is a one-for-one trade, as long as you trade-in one qualifying old, large-format printer, plotter or vinyl
cutter for a cash-back allowance towards the purchase/lease of one eligible new HP Designjet printer, there is no limit to
the number of purchases/leases and trade-ins you can make.
How is the money for the trade disbursed?
Once the product in question has been received, inspected, and approved as sellable by Market Velocity—and once the new HP
product invoice, print sample/decal/logo from trade in product(s) and the acceptance notification e-mail have been mailed
to Market Velocity—cash-back checks will be mailed within 4 to 6 weeks. If you have not received your check within eight (8)
weeks from the time you shipped your product and provided proof of your new purchase, whichever is later, please contact
customer service.

number that was e-mailed to you by HP. (Upon order placement, be SURE to include the desired e-mail address of the person you'd like your information sent to).
