Through an extensive process of remanufacturing and recertification, HP Renew offers you current, state of the art
technology, in addition to older generation equipment. In fact, more than 80% of the HP Renew product portfolio is
less than 12 months old.
This technology is guaranteed to be as good as new, as it has the same quality and performance you would expect from new,
and comes with the same full original HP warranty as the equivalent new product.
HP Renew's high standards of quality assurance deliver a product that is not only HP branded, but cost compelling.

All HP Renew products have undergone comprehensive HP refurbishment and testing processes, ensuring they are fully
restored to meet HP standards. It is only then that they qualify for original HP warranty — your guarantee
of HP quality and reliability!

Remanufactured HP products undergo comprehensive HP refurbishment and testing processes to completely restore them to
meet HP's very stringent quality standards. This ensures they also satisfy customer's high quality expectations.
With HP Renew products, customers can rest assured knowing they are getting the same high-quality and performance that
is expected from new HP products.
It is only after completing the rigorous refurbishment process that HP Renew products qualify for original HP
warranty — guaranteeing HP quality and reliability! In addition, service and support options are equivalent to
that offered with new HP products and the most current software revisions are installed.
What type of warranty comes with HP Renew products?
All HP Renew products are backed by the original HP warranty. In other words, there is no difference between the
warranty offered for a new HP product and the equivalent HP Renew product. The warranty of the HP Renew product
starts with the date of purchase and refreshes the original warranty. It is important to note that this is not a
remaining warranty policy.
As an example, if a new HP product has a three year warranty, the HP Renew solution will also carry a three year
warranty. The HP Renew warranty applies from the time the customer takes delivery.
Additionally, all HP Renew products can have their warranties uplifted to accommodate Critical System Support,
extended to 3Yr 24x7 or HP Care Packs. This means any support uplift that is available for new HP products is also
available for HP Renew products.
How do you guarantee data security on HP Renew remanufactured products?
Since products in the HP Renew portfolio are returned to HP from various sources, there are often concerns about
data being removed before the products are resold. As part of the rigorous refurbishment process all HP Renew products
go through, all returned drives are reformatted and retested. During this process every drive is wiped clean of any data
and every disk is separately overwritten. The process is based on methods described in the "National Industrial Security
Program Operation Manual (US DoD 5220.22-M) of the US Department of Defense" so you can be assured the most stringent
standards are implemented.

Purchase Agreement Discount (PAD) contract or Volume End-User (VEU) contract by means of any HP Customer
Business Center or HP Inside Sales Center
For HP ProLiant servers,entry-level storage, and ProCurve networking products:

Any HP Partner with a signed Business Development Agreement (BDA) and appropriate addenda on file with HP
