It is easy to register for the HP IT Resource Center (ITRC). Using the simple registration process, you
will have access to HP's support information.

Start by accessing the ITRC web site at
www.itrc.hp.com and click the "register now"
link in the upper part of the page.

Provide the required user information, review the terms and conditions, and create your unique password,
and submit your selections.

When your registration is complete the ITRC generates a UserID. This ID will begin with "CA" (denoting an
Americas/Asia Pacific user), followed by six numerals (i.e "CA123456).

Once you have been assigned a UserID, you can now return to the ITRC web site
(www.itrc.hp.com) and login by selecting the option on
the left-side of the page.

The login page will appear and request your UserID or e-mail address and your unique password created in Step 2.

You will need a valid System Handle to access the additional support services and information. To create
a System Handle follow these easy steps:

To associate the HP assigned System Handle for your company, select the "My Profile" option
on the left-side of the page.

On the My Profile page, select the "link a support agreement to your user id" item near the
middle of the page.

The "link a support agreement (system handle) to your user id" page will appear allowing you to
create a system handle that is tied to your valid support agreement number.

Select the "LINK SYSTEM HANDLE" button on the lower part of the page.
|

You should now have a valid System Handle and have access to the Software Update Manager (SUM)
and other support services and information.

If you need to reassign your System Handle, access the My Profile page and select the "reassign access
privileges".
