Device certification
 |
| |
HP certifies and provides certified device configuration for appropriate HP print devices shortly
after a print device becomes generally available to the market. |
| |
Certified device configurations for selected non-HP print devices are provided by HP at the
manufacturer's request utilizing the HP Device Certification Program. |
| |
Device templates and device capabilities tickets are provided for HP printers that meet specific
certification requirements to help assure HP devices provide reliable printing using features such as
checkpointing and other capabilities. |
| |
Other manufacturers of print devices may choose to participate in the HP Output Server device
certification program. These manufacturers then identify specific printers for certification. These device
templates and device capabilities tickets are provided when requested by the printer manufacturer. |
