HP offers comprehensive solutions designed to provide users with a number of options for getting the most value
from their aging technology, thereby minimizing the impact these products might have on our landfills, and
ultimately our environment. The programs underscore HP's commitment to practicing good global citizenship while
giving customers true value and flexibility.

Trade up to new HP technology |
 |

The HP Trade-In Program offers users the opportunity
to capture the fair market value of their aging technology when they trade up to new HP products. The program
covers every product category, accepts both HP and competitors' products, and the simple, seamless online tool
gives trade-in value quotes instantly. This innovative program gives customers a clear incentive to do something
other than discard their old products, while giving them a rebate at the same time.

Donate your aging technology |
 |

HP also has options for
donating
used IT assets. This is a popular option for products with little or no
remaining fair market value, and can make a significant difference in the life of an individual who might not
otherwise be able to afford new technology. This component of the program is made possible through a partnership
with the
National Cristina Foundation
(NCF). Briefly stated, NCF matches unwanted technology assets with worthy recipients. In addition to the obvious
social benefits, donating through NCF also gives users the bonus of a tax receipt showing the value of the
donation. Only certain product categories are eligible for donation.

Recycling options |
 |

HP also addresses the challenge of what to do with aging IT assets that have no remaining aftermarket value, or
are otherwise ineligible for trade or donation. Users of the
Recycle Program
can return any piece of computer equipment for a minimal fee or HP printing supplies for free. HP's recycling
service is a simple and environmentally sound take-back program, ensuring that unwanted hardware is reused or
recycled in a way that conserves resources.
