The HP MediaSmart Server is powered by Windows® Home Server, a new software solution from Microsoft that provides a reliable way to store, share, and protect your most important digital files.
Space that grows with you
HP MediaSmart Server capacity starts at 500 GB. That's enough space for up to 220,000 photos, 120,000 songs, 140 hours of DVD-quality video, or up to 50 hours of HD-quality video2.
And when you're ready to expand storage capacity, adding a hard drive is a cinch. Slide in an off-the-shelf SATA hard drive into one of the four built-in hard-drive bays, perform a few clicks, and you're done. No tools or cables required.
Need more space? Expand capacity even more by adding USB and eSATA external hard drives.
Adjustable LED brightness
The sleek, streamlined micro-tower design includes adjustable LEDs, so you always have light that's right. Drag the controller left and right to change the LED brightness.
