To access Help and Support, press the question mark button on your keyboard.
Another way to open the Help and Support Center is to double-click the question mark icon on the desktop.
When you open the Help and Support Center, there are four topic areas to choose from.
From Learn More About Your PC, you can learn about connecting to the web, organizing your photos, e-mailing, and playing music and videos.
You can learn how to send a photo in an e-mail from this page. Simply click Get connected with e-mail and newsgroups. Then click Send a photo in e-mail. You will then see step by step instructions on how to perform this task!
From Learn More About Your PC and all other topic pages, you can connect to the Product Support Page specific to your computer to find out more about it (you must be connected to the internet).
From Update Software & Drivers, you can use Microsoft Windows Update to check for critical updates your computer may need or use the Software Repair Wizard to recover software programs that have stopped working.
From Troubleshoot A Problem you can find information to check whether your modem is working correctly, resolve music, video, or e-mail problems, along with many other troubleshooting tips!
If you still can't find the information you need you can chat online or talk over the phone with a Support Specialist.
If you want to chat online, click Chat On-line and you will be taken to a form with instructions on how to contact a Support Specialist. (you must be connected to the internet)
If you prefer to talk to a Support Specialist over the phone, click Talk to a Support Specialist. You will be taken to a page that will show you your system information as well as the support phone numbers!
The HP Desktop Help and Support Center can help you when you need it. Press the question mark button on your keyboard or double-click the Help and Support icon on the desktop anytime for assistance.
