Welcome to the Windows ® 7 Upgrade Option Program from HP. This program lets you order a Windows ® 7 Upgrade Kit from HP if your PC* meets the eligibility requirements. You can order your Windows ® 7 Upgrade Kit at this site today and you will receive it after Windows ® 7 becomes publicly available October 22, 2009.
These HP Notebooks, Tablet PCs, Desktops, All-in-One PCs, and Personal Workstations are eligible models for the Windows ® 7 Upgrade Option Program from HP. Not all models may be available in all countries.
Consumer Notebooks
All new HP Pavilion, HP TouchSmart, HP HDX, HP G Series and Compaq Presario Notebook PCs sold between June 26, 2009 and January 31, 2010 with an eligible operating system -- Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Ultimate, or Windows Vista Business -- are eligible for the Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program from HP.
The majority of refurbished HP Pavilion, HP TouchSmart, HP HDX, HP G Series and Compaq Presario Notebook PCs sold during this period with an eligible operating system are also eligible for the Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program from HP, although some older refurbished notebook PCs are not eligible.

Business Notebooks

If your system was originally pre-installed with Windows Vista® Business or Windows Vista® Ultimate and downgraded to Windows® XP, it may still be eligible for this program. However, a clean installation of the Windows ® 7 Upgrade media will be required.

HP has contracted with a third party company to fulfill the Windows® 7 Upgrade Option Program from HP. Orders will be accepted June 26, 2009 until February 15, 2010. Proof of purchase must be submitted and postmarked no later than March 1, 2010. You will receive your Windows ® 7 Upgrade Kit after Windows ® 7 becomes publicly available October 22, 2009.
