Paper is paper, right?

Not exactly.

Just as you wouldn't use watercolors on a painting canvas or oil paints on notebook paper, to get the highest quality printing, you'll want to use the HP paper specifically designed to work with your HP printer.

HP Inkjet printer HP Inkjet Printers spray fine amounts of liquid ink onto a page to create an image and text. Laser papers are not designed to absorb ink, which could result in smearing or streaking.

HP LaserJet printer HP LaserJet Printers use high temperature fusers to bond dry toner particles in precise dots onto paper. HP laser papers are designed to withstand this extreme heat, while inkjet papers are not. Using inkjet papers with your LaserJet printer could damage the printer.
