Select HP Photosmart cameras include exclusive HP video print technology that lets
you capture VGA video up to 30 frames per second, plus the ability to select a single
video frame to save as a separate still image.

HP video print gives you a new way to use your camera to capture important moments
in your life. No computer is required to use this feature!

HP uses special image
processing techniques to extract a frame from the
video, improve the quality, reduce MPEG artifacts,
and create a still image from any frame in the video.
Because the photo is based on video which is captured
at lower resolution, it will look best when printed
as a 3x5 or 4x6 photo. |

How to
capture a frame |

To use the video print feature, follow these simple steps.

| 1. |
Make sure your camera's video quality is
set to VGA***, then capture your video clip. |
| 2. |
Switch to playback mode, and press "OK" to
pause the video when you see a part you want to capture as a still photo. |
| 3. |
Press the right/left arrows on the 4-way
controller to find precisely the frame you want. Then press the "up" arrow
button to extract the frame and, in less than 5 seconds, create the
still image. The new photo will be stored in your camera as a new image. |
