How to edit your photos |

To get started editing your photos, insert your memory card into the printer.


Some HP printers and All-in-Ones feature a red-eye removal button for quick editing.

Some HP Photosmart printers and All-in-Ones allow you to edit your photos using an interactive touchscreen, while others feature color display screens and control panels.
The editing process is similar for both interfaces. To edit your photos:

Insert your camera's memory card into the appropriate slot on the front of your printer.

Choose your printer's View option, and use directional arrows to browse your photos.

Select the image you want to enhance, and choose Edit to open a menu of editing choices.


While each HP model may differ slightly, you'll find the following options offered by most HP printers with editing capabilities:

Rotate:
Reposition your photo horizontally or vertically by flipping the image 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise.

Crop:
Use directional arrows to position your photo within a designated cropping area, and rid your photo of distracting details.

Red-eye removal:
Some HP printers offer a one-touch button for red-eye removal, accessible directly from the control panel. Learn more about how to

Photo fix:
Choose this option and the printer will automatically enhance your photo by adjusting the lighting and improving the contrast.

Sometimes an image invites a color effect, such as sepia or black-and-white. These effects can add a feeling of nostalgia or gravity to photos.

Many HP printers and All-in-Ones, including the HP Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-One,
let you add a color effect in a few simple steps:

- Select the photo you would like to alter, and choose Edit.

- From the edit menu, select Color Effect.

- Choose from a selection of Black & White, Sepia, or Antique effects
