HP's wireless Photosmart printers make wireless setup easier than ever. Features like the Wireless Setup Wizard automate the process so you'll be printing photos wirelessly in minutes!
HP Photosmart: Wireless setup simplified
Beginning the set-up process is as easy as touching the setup button on your printer's front panel.
HP Photosmart photo printers have one of the easiest 1-2-3 wireless setups around. No knowledge of networking required!
We are using the HP Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Fax, Copier as an example. All new HP Photosmart photo printers follow a similar setup process using the
printer's touchscreen or the buttons on the printer's front panel.
You can connect your wireless printer a couple different ways:
With a wireless router (tap into a wireless network that is already set up).
Without a wireless router (ad-hoc). Refer to your manual for complete instructions for setting up an ad-hoc network.
How to connect your wireless printer to a network with a router
The Wireless Setup Wizard automatically finds your network settings and device and connects to network.
Have your network name and password handy before you begin the wireless setup process.

A wireless-enabled computer or laptop that is connected to the network you intend to install the printer on
Your network name and password (WEP key or WPA Passphrase). Write this down for easy access.
Now you're ready to connect your printer in three steps using the Wireless Wizard software on your HP Photosmart.
