Introduction

You’ve taken fantastic photos of yourself and your friends, transferred the digital images off of your camera, organized them on your PC, and posted to Facebook—now it’s time print and share your favorites! (If you’re having trouble posting, get tips on how to organize, store, and upload your photos to Facebook.)

Choose the perfect photos

Someone’s Facebook albums

Look at people’s albums to narrow down your photo choices by event, season, or holiday.

Click on the Photos button on the left side of the screen to see a collection of your friends’ most recently added photos.

Use these tips to help you find the ideal shots to print and share:

  • Start by looking at people’s albums to narrow down your choices by event, season, or holiday.
  • Read the comments underneath a photo to help you determine which ones are the most popular. This is especially useful when looking for a photo to print for someone else, because you can see which photos they “Like” or have commented the most on.
  • Have a favorite photo your friend tagged you in? Print a copy and make the memory last.
  • Easily browse your friends’ latest photo posts. Just click on the Photos button on the left side of the screen to see a collection of the most recently added photos.

HP Facebook printing app

The HP Photo and Album Printing app allows you to print your Facebook photos in three easy steps!

: 4 x 6 print size highlighted

For the best results, choose 4" x 6" as the print size for your photos.

You’ve shared your photos with friends and family on Facebook, now it’s time to print your favorites.

  • If you’re using the new “Timeline” profile, right-click on the image, and save to your PC’s desktop.
  • For those with an original profile, click on the Download option below the photo.
  • Once saved or downloaded to your PC’s desktop, simply select the photo and print using your preferred settings.

You can also print your photos using the HP Photo and Album Printing app, available right on Facebook:

  • Choose the photo or photos you’d like to print.
  • Select Preview to review your photos before printing.
  • Follow the onscreen directions for high-quality prints.

Quick Tip: Facebook compresses all uploaded images. If the photo you want to print wasn’t originally uploaded as a “high resolution” file, print it as 4" X 6" for best results.

After you print: Frame, display, or archive your printed Facebook photos in a scrapbook or album. Visit the HP Creative Studio to find a variety of free, printable templates and endless inspiration!
