Photo disc label

Introduction

There are many occasions for labeling your discs to customize or organize them. See the various ways that HP printers and All-in-Ones make it easy to label music, video, and documents on disc.

Benefits of labeling your discs

Some HP Photosmart printers and All-in-Ones have the ability to print labels directly onto your CD and DVDs.
Label your discs with photos and text to create customized CD/DVDs for a variety of occasions and uses:

  • Personalize for the perfect gift for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or the holiday season
  • Archive and easily organize your photo and music collections
  • Submit a professional-quality proposal or portfolio

There are three basic ways to label your CD/DVDs, all of which are covered below:

  1. Print labels directly onto your discs using HP printable media and a compatible HP printer or All-in-One.
  2. Laser-etch graphics and text onto your discs using LightScribe technology.
  3. Use the more traditional method, and print labels on label paper before affixing them to your CDs and DVDs.
