A variety of clip art at your fingertips
A few examples of seasonal and kid-focused clip art.
Many HP Photosmart compact photo printers come with a variety of clip art options. You can choose from art in five categories:
Seasons–Includes clip art that relates to the seasons and holidays (Halloween, Christmas, etc.)
Kids–Clip art that's perfect for baby pictures, or to add a personal touch to invitations, scrapbooks, and other projects.
Daily Life–Flowers, flourishes, sports, pets, and other all-purpose clip art.
Special Events–Clip art for weddings, birthdays, and various other celebrations.
Greetings–Messages in various languages related to a variety of celebrations, events, and holidays.
The touchscreen on the HP Photosmart A646 Compact Photo Printer makes it easy to add
clip art.
You can add clip art, save the altered image, and then add frames or other effects.
Navigate to the photo you wish to edit, and then touch Effect.
Touch the Clip Art creative option. Use the onscreen arrows to navigate to this option if it is not visible.
Touch the desired category (Seasonal, Kids, etc) to view the clip art. Touch to return to the main Clip Art window to select a different category.
Touch the desired clip art.
Adjust the clip art using the onscreen buttons to make it larger or smaller or to rotate it. Move it around on the photo by dragging it with your finger or the stylus.
When you are finished, touch Done.
To save your creative project, touch Save to Card.
NOTE: If you choose Continue without Saving, you can delete the clip art from the photo later by touching the Effect button and then touching Clip Art. Follow the prompts on the touchscreen.
Once you remove the memory card or turn off the printer, the clip art is deleted, unless you chose to save it to the card.
A simple, solid background for a Mother's Day message.
You can add clip art to just about any picture. But for the best result look for pictures with:
Plenty of space around your subject. This allows you to use art that interacts with your subject. A piece of beach ball clip art
suspended in front of your little girl's open hand adds a magical effect.
Simple, solid backgrounds that aren't too busy–and dark or light colored backgrounds–make a nice backdrop for clip art.
The HP Photosmart A646 Compact Photo Printer is completely portable.
