Succeeding in retail
In 2006, Vyomesh (VJ) Joshi asked the PMA audience to consider a world beyond 4 x 6-inch prints. Since that time, HP
has made it extremely easy for retail photo-finishers to capitalize on the growing photo creations market. "We entered
this business one year ago and have not looked back. Today, we are announcing key projects that are helping our retail
partners thrive and our end users tell their stories." VJ said during his PMA 2007 keynote.

HP Photosmart kiosks are found in major retail stores in North America and Europe. This year HP is expanding offerings
to include Asia. New HP retail photo solutions are configurable, to offer a mix and match of prints and creative
solutions behind the counter of any retail situation. Plus, every new solution delivers the same easy, delightful user
experience—whether customers are getting basic, 4x6-inch prints, or doing more with their photos, like making
beautiful personalized albums, calendar and posters. Other new, exciting innovations include support for integrating
HP solutions with online sharing sites.
