HP Photosmart Essential lets you share your photos with family and friends easily without clutter or mess. No
special software is needed and attachments are a thing of the past. It's as simple as receiving an e-mail and
being directed to a secure website where you can view the photos at your leisure. Recipients will be able to
print or save your photos, create online albums, and even order professional prints at the touch of a button.
Here's how you can begin sharing:
Step 1: Select email
Go to the "Share" tab and click the "E-mail with HP Photosmart Share"
button or envelope icon.
Step 2: Connect to the HP Photosmart Share service
Make sure you're connected to the Internet.
Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions
Select your region and agree to the terms of use. You'll only have to complete this step the first time you connect
to the service. Click the "Next" button to continue.
Step 4: Create an HP Photosmart Share e-mail
Complete the To (e-mail addresses of people you want to share your pictures with), From (your e-mail address),
Subject, and Message fields, and then chose a format.
HTML—includes thumbnail photos and a link to view photos online, all within the body of
your e-mail.
OR
Text only—includes a link to view your photos online but no photos showing in your e-mail.
Click the "Next" button.
Step 5: Add captions (optional)
Add a unique caption for each photo, or use the same line for all the photos you're sending. Click
"Send" to wrap it up.
Step 6: View your handiwork
HP Photosmart Share will upload your photos to the same secure web page that your recipients use.
