Your digital photo memories are important-and with HP Photosmart Essential you can enhance less than perfect images so they
look the way you remember them. Photosmart Essential offers you the ability to enhance your photos in a number of ways, such
as removing red-eye, changing the lighting, cropping or applying a special filter.
With the new restoration toolkit, you can even restore faded color and fix speckled areas in old or damaged photos.
Select your photos |

While viewing photos in HP Photosmart Essential, you simply click on the images you'd like to restore. The selected photos
will appear as thumbnails at the bottom of the screen. You can always return to select more photos even after you've begun
editing images.

Enhance your photos |

Select the Enhance button on the Edit tab for a selected photo. You now have the opportunity to restore color and improve image quality.

Restore color to faded photos |
|
|
|
For photos that seem grey or have lost color over time, select the Faded Color button to improve image quality.
Each time you click on this feature, the photo comes back to life!

Smooth out the edges |

Natural light tends to bring out the harsh lines in the subjects of your photos. By selecting the Noisy/Speckled Image button,
you can provide a smooth, glossy feel to your prints. You can almost turn back time with this anti-aging feature!

Fix low resolution photos |

Sometimes a photo scanner or older camera produces a less-than-perfect image. The Low Resolution button enhances the image,
giving you a much better digital-quality photo for sharing and printing.
