HP Photosmart Essential gives you an easy way to turn your digital photos into a scrapbook, brag book or a beautiful album. You
get to choose from several templates in which to drag-and-drop your photos. Get creative with various sized photos on an album
page or print individual family portraits all on one page.
Select your photos |

While viewing photos in HP Photosmart Essential, you simply click on the images you would like to include on an
album page. The selected photos will appear as thumbnails at the bottom of the screen. You can always return to
select more photos even after you've started an album page.

Edit the photos |
|

|
Prepare your photos for an album page by removing red-eye, changing the lighting, cropping or applying a special
filter. To help you out, the Album feature can Auto Fix your photos before printing the page. Click on the Edit tab
and fix your photos as you desire.

Choose an album template |
|

Click on the Album Pages icon within the Create tab. There are dozens of album templates available for you with
varying sizes and layouts for your photos. Choose a template that best suits your album need.

Drag-and-drop your photos |

All of the images you selected earlier appear on the left side of the screen. If you're missing a photo or two,
return to the View tab and select more photos.
Drag-and-drop your photos from the left side of the screen into the album template. You can do this by holding down
the left mouse button over a photo and dragging it into the album page. Once an image is in the template, you can
move it around to different positions to select the best crop. You can also rotate or remove the photo from the
album by right-clicking the image with your mouse pointer.

Print the album |

Great! You've had fun creating an album page...and now you'd like to print it. If you would like HP Photosmart
Essential to fix the photos for you, select the "Auto fix images" box on the right side of the screen.
Make sure that the correct paper size and printer settings are selected. You can also print multiple copies of the
album page to share with friends and families.
