Introduction
Some HP Photosmart All-in-Ones offer in-printer editing features, including the option to adjust the color of your photo right on your printer’s large touchscreen. You can choose from three different options: black-and-white, sepia, and antique. Learn how you can transform any photo with these fun and easy-to-add effects.
Why use color effects?
Use the antique effect to give a sentimental, artistic feeling to a candid shot.
Use the color effects feature available on printers, such as the HP Photosmart 6510 e-All-in-One and the HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One, to easily enhance the quality and impact of your photos, or to create cohesiveness among multiple photos in a wall display, holiday card, or scrapbook.
Black-and-white: Adds a sense of timelessness or drama. Black-and-white photos include a range of grays, thereby giving greater detail to contrasting shades, tones, light, and patterns. Use for wedding photos or artistic portraits.
Sepia: Offers warm tones that lend a vintage feel to modern photos. Use to enhance moody, timeless landscapes or portraits. It can also be used to complement scanned images of old photographs. Learn how to scan your 35mm slides and negatives.
Antique: Mixes sepia with the photo’s original coloring. By washing your photo in a warm, earthy color, this effect gives your photo a special, artistic “pop” without losing the original colors.
