HP 4200tm LCD Interactive Display Overview

Tap into the future with HP's first fully interactive, 42" diagonal HD 1080p interactive display. The HP 4200tm LCD Interactive Display features Infrared technology for onscreen interaction in environments, such as point-of-sale, hospitality, education, banking and kiosks.

Infrared technology is built to determine touch by pairing to create a grid of light beams across the display. When a finger or pointing device touches the screen, the light beam within the grid is interrupted and thus, touch is recognized.

1Dual/Quad Core is a new technology designed to improve performance of certain software products. Not all customers or software applications will necessarily benefit from use of this technology. 64-bit computing on Intel architecture requires a computer system with a processor, chipset, BIOS, operating system, device drivers and applications enabled for Intel® 64 architecture. Processors will not operate (including 32-bit operation) without an Intel 64 architecture-enabled BIOS. Performance will vary depending on your hardware and software configurations. See www.intel.com/info/em64t for more information.   |   2Wireless access point and Internet service required and sold separately.   |   3This system requires a separately purchased 64-bit operating system and 64-bit software products to take advantage of the 64-bit processing capabilities of AMD technology. Dual/quad/triple-core processing available with AMD technology is designed to improve performance of this system. Given the wide range of software applications available, performance of a system including a 64-bit operating system and a dual-core processor will vary.   |   4High definition (HD) content required to view HD images.   |   5Systems may require upgraded and/or separately purchased hardware and/or a DVD drive to install the Windows 7 software and take full advantage of Windows 7 functionality. See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/ for details.   |   6Microsoft® Office is a trial version; functionality is reduced after 60 days. The full version is sold separately.   |   7Maximum memory capacities assume Windows 64-bit operating systems or Linux. With Windows 32-bit operating systems, memory above 3 GB may not all be available due to system resource requirements.   |   8For hard drives, GB = 1 billion bytes. Actual formatted capacity is less. Up to 8GB (for XP and XP Pro), up to 10 GB (for Vista) and up to 16 GB (for Windows 7) of disk space is reserved for the system recovery software.   |   9Optional feature sold separately or as an add on feature.   |   10Internet access required and sold separately.   |   11Availability of signals limited by the strength and accessibility of the originating TV signal, location and other factors. Performance issues may arise, and do not constitute defects in the product.   |   12Blu-Ray is a format containing new technologies, certain disc, digital connection, compatibility and/or performance issues may arise, and do not constitute defects in the product. Flawless playback on all systems is not guaranteed. In order for some Blu-ray titles to play, they may require a DVI or HDMI digital connection and your display may require HDCP support. HD-DVD movies cannot be played on this Desktop PC.   |   13All specifications represent the typical specifications provided by HP's component manufacturers; actual performance may vary either higher or lower.   |   14Games may be limited during trial period. Full version games may be purchased at any time. Internet access required and sold separately.   |   15This is the weight with a 6-cell battery and weight saver. Standard configuration is with the 6- cell battery; however, you need to remove the optical drive and put in the weight saver to get the 4.65 lb.
