The EliteBook Notebook: Engineered To Pass 6 U.S. Military Testing Standards.1
Vibration Test
Since notebooks are meant to be as mobile as you are, we simulate the vibrations of 1000 miles of ground transportation. HP EliteBook Notebooks are designed to handle many of the stresses of constant travel to help you stay on the move.1
Dust Test
Dust is blasted at the notebook for six straight hours to help ensure internal and external components won't fail in harsh environments. HP EliteBook Notebooks are ready for the office, the outback or most anywhere you roam.1
High Temperature Test
The notebook is placed in an oven and baked at 60°C (140°F) to mimic extreme heat conditions. If you accidentally leave your notebook in a car out in the sun all day long, you can be confident that your HP EliteBook Notebook will deliver on our business-rugged design.1
Temperature Shock Test
We subject the notebook to sudden temperature changes greater than 10°C (18°F) within one minute. Even if you're constantly moving between climate-controlled buildings and outdoor work sites, your HP EliteBook Notebook is all about helping you move your business forward.1,3
Altitude
The notebook sits in a chamber that simulates the pressure of an altitude of 15,000 feet (4,572 m). You can work in the mountains or in a helicopter, and your HP EliteBook Notebook can help with the challenge.1
Mechanical Shock Test
Notebooks are often knocked around, so we jolt the notebook in six different directions, resulting in a total of 18 mechanical shocks. We do this so your HP EliteBook Notebook is prepared for business, even in rough or unpredictable environments.1,2
The Elite Desktop: 115,000 Hours Of Testing Earned The Name
Vibration Test
Some environments are naturally harsher than others, but you can depend on your HP business desktops to ignore vibrations from office equipment, heavy machinery or nearby traffic.
Acoustic Test
When you're focused on the task at hand, you don't want your PC intruding on your concentration. Acoustic tests help us keep your PCs running quiet, with minimal wear on their parts or your patience.
Electromagnetic Interference Test
You don't have to worry about your sensitive instruments and electronics–we've taken pains to help ensure our desktop PCs won't interfere with nearby devices.
Electrostatic Discharge Test
Office environments can generate a lot of static electricity–we help ensure it won't damage your HP business desktops, or your business-critical information.
Temperature Test
Your HP business desktops will work just fine in temperatures far outside your own comfort zone. In fact, we test our fans in temperatures exceeding 150°F, helping to ensure the reliability of your PC in a range of environments.
Comprehensive Testing and Validation
Whatever your environment, HP business desktops are prepared. Our rigorous testing standards help ensure that your PCs can perform in a variety of locations, so you can simply focus on the task at hand.
