HP recognizes that you, our customer, take licensing seriously, and that you want to be assured you are in total compliance. HP's Software License Transfer process will offer you that assurance.

The Software License Transfer policy applies only in the case of ownership changes for used HP software license products.

Fees:

A transfer fee is charged for software license ownership transfers. We can accept checks, money orders, or charges to American Express, Visa or MasterCard.

Sales tax is required for all transfers into/within the United States. Tax is based on the location of the Transferee/New Owner.

The fee is charged per server or transfer depending on the product(s) being transferred. Refer to the product-specific page links below for transfer fees.

HP3000, HP9000, SuperDome, Integrity, EVA, OpenView

OpenVMS VAX, OpenVMS-Alpha, Tru64-Unix

Mercury, Peregrine, Systinet, Opsware, SPI Dynamics, Dialogue, AFP, Output Server

Transfers are not Required for:

• Desktop PCs, Laptops, Vectras, Kayaks, Evo's
• Jukeboxes, Switches
• NetServers, Proliants, Workstations
• Printers
• Storage devices (except EVAs)
• VA disk arrays
• Unless any of the above are running an HP OpenView product
