Matrix User's Guide
The date a product first gets delivered on a particular Operating System Application
media kit is noted in the column for
the Operating System -- i.e. HP-UX 11i version 1.0 (11.11), HP-UX 11i version
2 (11.23), etc. The date allows someone to
determine whether a previously received media kit has the Application software
or they need to purchase a newer Application
media kit. The date will not change for the product/stream even if the product
is released on future application releases.
The date will always reflect the FIRST time the product appeared on the application
media.
There are separate matrices for Workstations
and Servers. In cases where the same product number
is used for both, the product
number will appear in both matrices.
Listed below and also at the bottom of each matrix page is a list of operating
system kits and application media kits. An operating
system kit should be ordered if a person requires a complete set of backup media
for the Operating System and Applications.
The application media kit is available for customers have the Operating System
back-up media and only need a later version of the
application media to either get a new product that was not on an older media
of to get a later version of product than is on the customers
existing Application media.
