Support Plus for December 2002

Hewlett-Packard is pleased to announce the latest release of HP-UX Support Plus.  These tested bundles include
patches that fix HP-UX defects, enable new hardware, and provide diagnostic tools.  Support Plus is available to
customers by request only.  Please use the following information to decide whether this release is right for you.

Hewlett-Packard strongly recommends that you update your OnlineDiag product version to September 2002
release onward because it includes the following enhancements:

1.       The solution for an error logging issue with the HP-UX 11.0 and 11i, March 2002 and June 2002
versions of OnlineDiag EMS Hardware Monitors.  If an update to the new September 2002 version onward of
OnlineDiag is not possible - this is the HP recommendation as additional functionality is included in this release,
then the same solution is available by applying the appropriate patch to your existing March or June 2002
version of OnlineDiag. Additional information and patch numbers can be found at:

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/diag/st/str_0203.htm#problems (March 2002 release)
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/diag/st/str_0206.htm#problems
(June 2002 release)

2.       The solution for a disk interruption issue with the hp StorageWorks disk system products using
OnlineDiag product on HP-UX with a version earlier than September 2002.

HP-UX Support Plus will be released as two CDs, one for HP-UX 11.0 and one for HP-UX 11i.
