Change in the product number setup:

 

In the past, the Open File Backup CD Media always came with a codeword to unlock the bits. With the new version 9.0 the media is now separate from the License-to-use product. In order to enable this change, new product numbers have been introduced:

 

BA155AA: 1xEnterprise Server License, replaces the old B7035AA

- BA153AA: 1xServer LTU, replaces the old B7033AA

- BA153BA: 10xServer LTU, replaces the old B7033BA

BA154AA: 5xWorkstation LTU, replaces the old B7034AA

Change in the upgrade process:

 

In order to run Open File Backup version 9.0 permanently, existing customers running earlier versions 7.x and 8.x are required to request upgrade license keys. To do so, please refer to the information included in your media shipment.

 

Obsolescence Information:

Please be aware that with the availability of Open File Backup version 9.0, version 7.x will no longer be supported by HP. All 7.x users are called to migrate to versions 8.x or 9.0. Please refer to the information included in your media shipment.
