HP OpenView Storage Area Manager v2.2

Product Discontinuance Announcement

 

Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced today that it will be discontinuing HP OpenView Storage Area Manager (SAM) v2.2.  This notification letter is being sent to our SAM customers worldwide to make you aware of this announcement and to inform you of your available upgrade paths.

     

SAM v2.2 products will be removed from the HP Corporate Price List on March 1, 2004.  Please be aware that HP support will still be available for these products until April 30, 2005.  However, HP strongly recommends that our customers who utilize the SAM functionality provided by version 2.2 upgrade to the most current version of OpenView Storage Area Manager.  

 

Newer versions of Storage Area Manager provide significant enhancements that allow you to manage additional application and hardware environments.  For information about migration options, please contact your local HP account representative for more details.
