Personal computing recycling service

HP Total Care has been enhanced to include a simple, yet cost-effective way for you to recycle unwanted IT equipment. HP's new Personal Computing Recycling Service is available for all HP and similar non-HP personal computing products including: monitors, desktops, workstations, notebooks, Tablet PCs, thin clients and associated peripheral items.
This innovative service is designed for small businesses and addresses your needs and concerns regarding:
•  Environmental compliance
•  Regulatory compliance
•  Confidential data destruction
•  Data security
•  Certification of destruction

Benefits

•  Cost reduction - Reduces costs of waste and simplifies disposal of products in complete peace of mind.
•  Regulatory compliance - HP will recycle your old hardware equipment and proceed with the hardware destruction in compliance with federal and governmental regulations.
•  Certificate of destruction - HP will provide a certificate of destruction evidencing that all assets sent to HP were recycled in compliance or exceeding all environmental regulations.

How does it Work?

Step 1 - Customer buys Personal Computing Recycling Service from either HP SMB Store or their HP Authorized Reseller of choice.
  SKU #ZU360AA Desktop/Workstation/Thin Client
  SKU #ZU361AA Notebook/Tablet PC
  SKU #ZU362AA Monitor
  Step 2 - Customer receives a package which includes a proof of purchase document, packing instructions and a FedEx shipping label.
  Step 3 - Customer boxes up recycled product, calls or takes package to a FedEx location and presents proof of purchase document.
  Step 4 - FedEx ships product to an HP Recycling center.
  Step 5 - Once recycling process is complete, HP Recycling center sends customer a certificate of destruction.
