Accidental Damage Protection: HP will repair (or replace) an accidentally damaged notebook or Tablet PC. Covered perils include but are not limited to: fire, liquid spills, drops, falls, collisions, and electrical surges.

Computrace Professional: A "guaranteed" theft recovery, data protection and secure asset tracking service.
•
The Computrace agent is BIOS based in all business series notebooks, ships in sleep-mode and must be activated by purchasing the service.
•
Once activated, using any type of Internet connection, the computer makes contact to a web-based monitoring center every 24 hours to report its location.
•
If a notebook is reported as stolen, the computer is flagged to call every 15 minutes and then Computrace's Recovery Team tracks it and works with local law enforcement to recover it.
•
Includes a recovery guarantee* up to $1,000 if a computer cannot be recovered within 60 days of theft.
•
Includes remote data delete capabilities to protect confidential information.
