Simple
HP Cluster Platform Express comes straight to you, factory assembled and available with pre-installed software for cluster management, and ready for deployment. The extensive array of software development tools and applications featured in the Unified Cluster Portfolio are supported on Cluster Platform Express solutions, which adhere to the design and quality standards of HP Cluster Platforms.
These clusters offer a choice of compute nodes, with HP ProLiant DL145 or BL465c Blade servers featuring AMD Opteron processors, or HP ProLiant DL140 G3 or BL460c nodes, with Intel Xeon processors. Larger nodes can be selected to use as control nodes, providing additional storage and network connectivity.
Software options include Red Hat and SUSE Linux distributions, as well as HP"s message passing library, HP-MPI. For Windows environments, clusters are available with the new Microsoft Compute Cluster Server.
For complete cluster environment, HP"s XC software can provide cluster management and job management, along with Linux and the MPI. HP Cluster Management Utility and Scali Manage are also available for Linux cluster management, along with HP Insight Control Linux Edition offered in Blade configurations.
Clusters for High Performance Computing can be simple, but deciding what to include can be complex. With HP Cluster Platforms, you don't need to be on your own. HP and its authorized resellers are available for advice on selecting components.
