Design your own letterhead, fax cover sheets, and memos


What you need:

  • Microsoft Office 95 or higher
  • HP Premium Inkjet Paper for letterhead and memos
  • HP Bright White Inkjet Paper for fax cover sheets

Instructions:

  1. Open Microsoft Word.
  2. On the File menu, click New, and then click the Letters & Faxes or Memos tab.
  3. Select a template by clicking it once.
  4. Under Create New, click Template, and then click OK.
  5. Make any modifications to the template that you want. Change font styles. Add or delete text.
  6. Insert a logo or art into your design. On the Insert menu, select Picture, then click Clip Art or From File. Find the art or file you want to use and double-click it.
  7. On the File menu, click Save As.
  8. In the File name box, type a name for the new template and click Save.
  9. On the File menu, click Close.
  10. If the Office Assistant asks whether you want to save the changes you've made, click Yes.
Note: To use a template after you create it, click New on the File menu, select the template, and then click OK.
