Design your own business cards

You can print professional-looking business cards on pre-scored business card stock.

What you need:
  • Microsoft Office 95 or higher
  • Avery® Ink Jet or Laser Business Cards
  1. Open a new document in Word.
  2. Click the Insert pull-down menu. Select Picture, then click From File. Find your logo file and double-click on it.
  3. Size your logo to approximately one-half inch by dragging the corner handles in or out. (Use the Word ruler as a guide.)
  4. Type your name and contact information below the logo.
  5. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
  6. On the Tools menu, click Envelopes and Labels and click the Labels tab.
  7. Right-click the logo and text in the Address window and click Paragraph. Select Centered from the Alignment pull-down menu and click OK.
  8. Click Options. In the Label Products list choose Avery standard. In the Product number list, click 8371-Business Card. Click OK.
  9. Click New Document. When you are satisfied with your design, save it.
  10. Insert a sheet of card stock into the printer and click Print.

Tip: Print your design onto a blank piece of regular paper first to see how your card will look and ensure that it is positioned and formatted correctly.
