Are you ready to take your iPAQ online?

Your Windows Mobile 6 HP iPAQ features "zero configuration" Wi-Fi access. Simply turn on the Wi-Fi radio and your iPAQ will automatically detect Wi-Fi networks that are broadcasting signals.
To turn Wi-Fi on or off:
1.  On the Home screen, scroll and select the cellular carrier and Wi-Fi connection status display module to open the Wireless Manager. Next, press All to turn all wireless connections on/off.
You can also press Start > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager.
When Wi-Fi is powered on, the Wi-Fi icon on the iPAQ Wireless screen turns from gray to amber to green and the LED on the top left corner of the unit flashes blue, indicating Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is on.
To access the Wireless Manager, select Start > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager.
To access the Wireless Manager, select Start > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager.
To access the Wireless Manager, select Start > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager.

If you're trying to connect to a network that isn't set to broadcast, you can connect manually in a few simple steps.

Note: Before trying to connect to a Wi-Fi network, check with the network administrator (at your office)
or the documentation that came with your wireless router (at home) to see if you'll need any authentication information.

Note: You should choose Private/Work only if the network requires a proxy server.
4.  Press Next to go to the Network Key screen.
Note: To determine whether authentication information is needed, see your network administrator.
•  To use authentication, select the authentication method from the Authentication list.
•  To use data encryption, select an encryption method from the Data encryption list.
•  To automatically use a network key, select the The key is automatically provided check box. Otherwise, enter the network key.
Configure authentication, data encryption and network keys on the Network Key screen.
