Q & A

Why the change?
To simplify and enhance. For example, there was no way to match a receipt to a particular cartridge.

How does it work?
An "install before" date is printed on each package. An "end of warranty" date is printed on each cartridge. The "end of warranty" date is 6 months after the "install before" date.

Does this new warranty apply to large and small format HP inkjet cartridges?

What do resellers do differently?
They now have a quick and easy way to tell if an HP inkjet cartridge is under warranty. Once they decide, the account specific process for returning cartridges to HP remain unchanged.
