At HP we are committed to high print quality and reliability. We will investigate reports of fraudulent products and will take appropriate legal action if warranted. Please contact HP if you if you suspect that you unknowingly purchased a counterfeit HP cartridge or if a counterfeit cartridge is offered to you. Any personal information provided to HP is considered confidential and will not be shared externally during our investigations. To contact HP to report suspicious products or activities, use any of the options listed on the right side of this section.
What to keep in mind when reporting counterfeit to HP

Please indicate why you think the product is suspicious. Share as many details as possible.

Include the name and address (and/or website) of the company that offered you the cartridge.
•
If possible, please include digital photos of the box and the print cartridge in your report to HP. The box should be photographed from all sides without using the camera flash, including a close-up of the security label, if one is present.

Your contact details (optional).
•
Please keep the print cartridge, its packaging and any documents related to the product, such as receipts, in the event that HP contacts you for more information.

HP will only follow up with individuals reporting counterfeit if additional details are needed.
