Choose from a complete printer lineup

Beyond basic printing, your business may need a complete printing solution that can support wide-format printing, multifunction printers, output finishing, and network management. HP's line of printers offers all of these options and more so you can build a complete, integrated, and manageable printing solution. Dell's printer lineup does not, as this table shows.

Get complete access to multifunction devices over the network

The HP LaserJet 3030 AIO with the extended JetDirect interface gives you wired and wireless access to the printer's print, fax, and scan features over the network. The Dell MFP Laser Printer 1600n does not offer the same access, as this table shows.

Better utilize resources with HP networking and print management

Most IT departments have no idea how much they are paying for printing, and the lack of a sophisticated printer management strategy generates increased costs and decreases productivity. Industry analysts estimate that improving print management can lower printing expenses and reduce total IT costs by up to 30%. HP's Total Print Management (TPM) can get you there. Dell doesn't offer a comparable solution, as this table shows.

HP TPM supports a complete set of networking features, including the most common networking protocols, extensive management capabilities, and multiple types of alerts for all types of printers. Dell's support for networking and management is incomplete and varies across printer types, as this table shows.
