Description
This compressed, Zip-format file contains software version M.10.41 for the ProCurve Series 3400cl switches. This software release is described in detail in the document: Release Notes: Version M.10.41 on the ProCurve Web site. The compressed file contains the switch software itself (M_10_41.swi) and the release notes (3400cl-RelNotes-m1041-59914764.pdf). The M.10.10 switch software (M_10_10.swi) is also included as per the ROM update notice below.

ROM Update Required!
3400cl switches MUST be running ROM version I.08.12 prior to loading M.10.41 software. If your switch is using a software version earlier than M.10.10 you need to install and boot the M.10.10 software (included in the M.10.41 software package) to load the I.08.12 ROM version, before installing M.10.41 or newer. Please see M.10.41 release notes for more information. |

NOTE
Release M.08.95 is the last software release supported on both the 3400cl Series and 6400cl Series switches. Release M.08.96, M.08.97 are supported only on the ProCurve 3400cl Series, after which the M code software for the 3400cl branched to M.10.01. |

IMPORTANT
Software versions M.08.62 or later, detect and disable non-genuine ProCurve transceivers and mini-GBICs discovered in Series 3400cl and 6400cl Switch ports. When a non-genuine device is discovered, the switch disables the port and generates an error message in the Event Log.
